Annual Summer Celtic Music Weekend

July 9-10

Enjoy Celtic music presented by recognized artists from the area playing traditional Irish songs; both vocal and instrumental renditions will be presented on fiddle, mandolin, and Debro guitar. Featured Celtic artists will be Pete Tenney and Blaine Stevens appearing both Friday and Saturday evening. These artists will present a vast background and full repertoire of Celtic music.

Huckleberry Mid-Summer Weekend Mountain Trail Ride

July 16-17

High altitude mountain trail rides are scheduled over this portion of West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. Expect to find huckleberry bushes to enjoy at the higher elevations (about 4,000 ft). Timberline stables will be open daily or bring your own horses. There is ample room to park horse trailers on the resort property at the base of the mountain. Friday and Saturday – live western and country music on the deck of the main lodge. Square dancing and dance instruction is scheduled both evenings. Barbeque ribs with all the fixings will be served on the deck or inside Timber’s Pub. Guests are encouraged to wear western style dress.
